Cooperatives of Chihuahuas objective is to give the native indigenous communities of Chihuahua an opportunity to provide for the basic needs of their families in accordance to their traditional cultural means: our institution facilitates the barter of their crafts for food. Our mission is to offer an alternative for the self-development of the indigenous communities in the Sierra Tarahumara.

Mujeres para hoy is a cooperative established in April of 1987 in Mexico City. The Objective of the cooperative is to generate work and create a formation of politically conscious minds of women workers. This would help them be a cooperative of collective benefit, and keep on participating in an organized manner.
